Podcast Reviews

  • Author, Speaker on Parenting and Teaching
March 28, 2019 by Yay Math from United States

Sam is an incredible mind. She is willing to both dive deep into a topic, and turn around and laugh at an oddity the very next instant. The format of this show is fantastic, for anyone who's ever compared what it was like being a kid, vs. what it's like raising a kid in these modern times.

  • Love it!

I enjoy listening to the Parenting Then and Now podcast. The interviews are always insightful, humorous and thought provoking. Samantha asks intelligent questions and I always wind up having learned something new.

Listening to these podcasts, I always come away with a great feeling on connection as a parent, able to share in the experience with others. Samantha’s openness and warmth brings great chemistry to her discussions and I love her reflections on her childhood and how parenting has changed. Great discussions and advice!

  • A new favourite!
October 2, 2018 by Alanna McGinn from Canada

I added Parenting Then and Now to my library and it's been so fun diving into all of the episodes. Definitely one of my new favourite podcasts!

The CBC is the greatest archive of Canadian history and culture. CBC is a lifeline for every rural community in this country

Cons want to destroy that in favor of mostly US owned corporate media where the wealthy decide what is news

Pierre Poilievre is a threat to our country https://twitter.com/wendywh30338921/status/1622303462250741760

PP wants to get rid of the CBC because "We Own It" and it is one of the few if not the last tv station not owned by Americans or Conservatives. Support the CBC, it is all we have left!

Just days before ELTON JOHN appeared on the BBC in 1970 BERNIE TAUPIN handed him lyrics to a new song he had written about his wife MAXINE FIEBELMAN.

With Maxine and Bernie watching on, Elton plays the new song for the first time…

…TINY DANCER.

He basically exposed their extreme economic plan (Republicans try to operate in secret) and forced them to retract their position. So, so epic.
